"Sky Contemplation" Kestrel Art Giclee by Pamela Hallisey

Known as North America’s littlest falcon, the Kestrel is small but fierce. Roughly the size of a Mourning Dove, they hunt for insects and other small prey in open fields and in the air. You can often find them perching on wires or poles, or hovering mid air facing into the wind as they adjust their long tails to stay in place.

Pyrography and watercolor combined creating my "Fire and Water" style.  

This listing is for the original 8"x10" art work, double matted and framed with certificate of authenticity.  Total framed size approximate 12"x15".Created on Arches 140ld cold press watercolor paper.  The unique style is achieved by burning the main subject using a Woodburning tool, color is then added using multiple watercolor techniques with a combination of Winsor & Newton and QOR professional watercolor.
