The majestic bald eagle poses proudly as his mate sneaks a peak to see what's going on.  I have the pleasure of living around a lake where I get to see these majestic birds soaring overhead daily looking for a meal!

The inspiration for this piece was a photo taken by an amazing photographer in my area named Harry Gorman and was used with his full permission.  This is the one that really stirred my passion of combining pyrography and watercolor creating my "Fire and Water" style.  

This listing is for the original 8"x10" art work, double matted and framed with certificate of authenticity.  Total framed size approximate 12"x15".Created on Arches 140ld cold press watercolor paper.  The unique style is achieved by burning the main subject using a Woodburning tool, color is then added using multiple watercolor techniques with a combination of Winsor & Newton and QOR professional watercolor.
