A symbol of power, courage, and strength, the Native Americans believed finding one meant you were maturing spiritually.  Living in New York's Hudson Valley region, I've always enjoyed feeding the local birds.  Imagine my surprise the day I watched this beautiful raptor dive down to snatch up his breakfast at my birdfeeder!  Unfortunate for the sparrow, but I was feeding ALL the birds.

Pyrography and watercolor combined creating my "Fire and Water" style.  

This listing is for the original 8"x10" art work, double matted and framed with certificate of authenticity.  Total framed size approximate 12"x15".Created on Arches 140ld cold press watercolor paper.  The unique style is achieved by burning the main subject using a Woodburning tool, color is then added using multiple watercolor techniques with a combination of Winsor & Newton and QOR professional watercolor.
