A baby Opossum hangs from his tail as Mommy proudly watches on nearby. Did you know young opossums are sometimes spotted dangling from branches temporarily for minutes at a time by their tails, however, the muscles in adult opossums' tails are not strong enough to support their weight for more than a moment. It is a myth that opossums are able to sleep while hanging by their tails.

Pyrography and watercolor combined creating my "Fire and Water" style.  

This listing is for the original 8"x10" art work, matted and framed with certificate of authenticity.  Total framed size approximate 12"x15".Created on Arches 140ld cold press watercolor paper.  The unique style is achieved by burning the main subject using a Woodburning tool, color is then added using multiple watercolor techniques with professional watercolors.
