"Mommy and Me" Opossums Giclee Print by Aries/Pamela Hallisey

A baby Opossum hangs from his tail as Mommy proudly watches on nearby. Did you know young opossums are sometimes spotted dangling from branches temporarily for minutes at a time by their tails, however, the muscles in adult opossums' tails are not strong enough to support their weight for more than a moment. It is a myth that opossums are able to sleep while hanging by their tails.

This piece was created in my "Fire and Water" style combining Pyrography and watercolor to create this unique effect.

Each Giclee will be hand signed and comes with a certificate of authenticity.  Giclee's are printed using archival light-fast inks on 245g, White, textured water color fine art paper made from 100% cotton creating a highly durable and vibrant print.  A 1/2 white border has been added to the print to allow for full view when matted and framed.  

Listing is for the art print only, matting and frame not included.  I do recommend a matted frame.

All prints come shipped flat in acid free plastic sleeve with sturdy acid free backing.
