I am so incredibly happy with how these little "Dee Doo" birds turned out. This piece started as a sweet memory of my youngest daughter, who used to call Black-capped Chickadees by that name when she was little. When she asked to see them all puffed up on a snowy branch, I knew I had to bring her vision to life using my Fire and Water style. I love how cozy and full of life they look perched together in the cold.
Pyrography and watercolor combined creating my "Fire and Water" style.  

This listing is for the original 8"x10" art work, double matted and framed with certificate of authenticity.  Total framed size approximate 12"x15".Created on Arches 140ld cold press watercolor paper.  The unique style is achieved by burning the main subject using a Woodburning tool, color is then added using multiple watercolor techniques with professional watercolors.
