"Butterfly" Original Art

This is "Butterfly" Original Art, the second I created in the "Bugs!" collection.   Inspired by the Dragonfly, I felt compelled to make more beautiful bugs!  So of course "Butterfly" was next! Again, combining my two favorite mediums, pyrography and watercolor, I used my pyrography tool to burn the outlines onto the paper and then  professional grade watercolor paints so "Butterfly" takes on a stained glass, jeweled look.  I loved combining the two mediums so much I've gone on to expand the collection!  Currently "Bugs!" consists of 7 original paintings with 4 available as prints.

This listing is for the ORIGINAL pyrography and watercolor art simply named "Butterfly". It is all original having been hand drawn, painted and signed by me, Pamela Hallisey, a.k.a. Aries.  Burned and Painted on 140lb Cold Press Legion watercolor paper with Winsor & Newton watercolor paints.

Framed! As this original art is an unusual size of 5.5" x 5.5" It will arrive to you matted and framed in a basic white frame. Example is pictured below. Total measurement of frame is 11" by 11" and comes ready to hang or display as a tabletop.  All originals in the "Bugs!" collection will be framed in the same manner.
